Trinidad

Consultant: Leo-Trintoplan, Trinidad
Construction of 3 river bridges in remote areas of Trinidad, including
Fishing Pond (Oropouche), the Salibia Bridge and the Manzanilla Mayaro
Road Bridge, using piled foundations and pre-stressed/pre-cast concrete
beams with concrete bridge decks, including sheet piled cofferdams and
falsework.
The works also consisted of the reconstruction and widening of
agricultural access roads, including repair, completion and/or
construction of drainage facilities, the repair and construction of
retaining walls, repair and reconstruction of timber bridge decks and
river training works, and pavement works.
Other Road Projects
Rehabilitation and Improvement of the Island Main Road
St. Kitts
Client: Government of St. Kitts
Rehabilitation of road sections of approximately 24km and included
general earthworks, realignment of three sections of road, construction
of box culverts, widening of four bridges, installation of drainage
culverts, regrading of the road shoulder, construction of 10,004m of
slipper drains and kerbs, using asphaltic concrete for the total length
of the roads.
Main Road Rehabilitation Project
Guyana
Client: Government of Guyana
Consultant: Ministry of Public Works
Rehabilitation of approximately 23.5 miles of existing road from
Georgetown to Timehri, including general earthworks, construction of
pavements, excavation, resurfacing of carriageway and reconstruction of
pavement with asphaltic concrete, construction of paved and gravel
shoulders, widening of the Friendship Bridge, and diversion of services.
Anguilla Road Rehabilitation
Anguilla
Client: Government of Anguilla
Consultant: L.G. Mouchell, UK
Rehabilitation of 8 major roads and carriageways with 7.5m wide
carriageways constructed to high specifications, including pavements,
external lighting and using indigenous materials to form a surface
dressed roadway construction in 12 months. The carriageways passed
through both urban and rural areas generally upgrading the road network
for the island.
