Press Release for NHIC regarding Ocean’s Edge Resort in St. Kitts.
Members of NH International (Caribbean) Limited team raise the St. Kitts & Nevis national flag on the first roof at Ocean’s Edge Resort at the Topping Out Ceremony.
In March 2007, NH International (Caribbean) Limited was awarded a contract from the Newfound Group (Canada) to construct Phase I of a development property consisting of 32 Hillside villas, 20 Beach Front apartments, and all infrastructure and utilities in North Frigate Bay, St. Kitts.
On December 14th, 2007, Ocean’s Edge celebrated the topping out of the first Hillside condominium. Brian Dobbin, Founder of Newfound stated: “Construction at Ocean’s Edge continues to progress at an impressive rate and the resort is on track for completion in December 2008. We are thrilled to have reached this important stage in the resort’s development. To mark the occasion and honour the trades people building the resort for their quality construction, Cable Bay Hotel Development Company co-hosted the Topping Out Ceremony with NH International (Caribbean) Limited, the project’s general contractor. Guests including Joint Venture partners, contractors, agents, suppliers, media and friends celebrated this milestone in the development’s progress and were given the opportunity to sign a roof beam to be used in the construction of a hillside apartment and become a permanent part of Ocean’s Edge Resort.
