NHIC HAS DONE IT AGAIN” – TTCA AWARD WINNER 2006 – 2007

FOURTH TIME AWARD WINNER OF TTCA CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR
NH International (Caribbean) Limited was the recipient of the prestigious TTCA 2006-2007 Contractor of the Year Award for Building Construction at TTCA’s Gala Awards Ceremony at the Trinidad Hilton on Tuesday 21st, November, 2006. NHIC’s entry was a US$15 million renovation and extension of the “Almond Morgan Bay Hotel” in St. Lucia, which upgraded the facility to a Five-Star Resort.
The winning project was completed on time and within budget which prompted Mr. Ralph Taylor, Chairman and Managing Director of Almond Resorts to state: “This was a Herculean task as the Hotel had to be opened on a date set prior to the start of construction. NH International (Caribbean) Limited did an outstanding job in the quality of work, and in a timely fashion, to ensure that we could meet our obligation.”
NHIC has won the TTCA Award four times in the past five years with the following Projects:
2001 – 2002 – Hillsborough Water Treatment Facility, Tobago - Civil Engineering Excellence
2002 – 2003 – British Gas (BG) House, St. Clair – Building Construction Excellence
2005 – 2006 – Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School, Champs Fleur – Building Construction Excellence
2006 - 2007 - Almond Morgan Bay Hotel, St. Lucia – Building Construction Excellence
Winning has become part of NHIC’s tradition and its expertise in the construction industry is evidenced by this recognition.
